I have a 94' 300ex, the crank case recently cracked (3 inches). I woulld like to know if the crank case is weldable? and if any of you have had it welded, and if it is a good idea or not. thanks guys

If you or someone you know can weld aluminum then it will work, I have cracked many cases on my quadsport, I never welded them but I did use epoxy. It worked ok.

Why not try taking and putting some JB weld over the crack, I'm not sure if it will work, but it did on my Trailblazer Case that had a hole/crack in it.

Put a nice even 1/8 coat on it. make sure you have it mixed perfect!

I see that you want to get triple rates for your 300ex, I can't decide if I want duals or triples. What do you think? I aggressivly trail ride, and maybe someday MX.
