yea there is no way that a stock warrior will beat a stock 400ex

 

Its funny...........how just 5 years ago the 400EX was the top quad you could possibly get and now people just refer to them as the slow one. IMO, it IS the most underated quad around and with a good rider it can still hang with the best............which ever one that might be at this time.........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

I think even with 2k worth of mods you still would get smoked

 

I've owned alot of different Quads and I think this 400ex I got is super ATV I would put it right behind a Predator for pure fun and power and price! look at what I've owned in my bio and I really like it, yes it's not liquid cooled but the the motor is super strong for what you get. and the suspension set up it still one of the best you can get. Honda 400ex is not out dated by any means.

 

The 400EX and the Rancher will be Hondas "bread and butter" bikes for years to come. These are two solid machines! The average guy walking into a dealership, isn't going to pick the 450.

 

His warrior ain't stock .. not a lot of mods, but still not stock. Rider weight and skill have a lot to play in this equation. And there's plenty of ways for stock warrior to beat a stock ex in a drag .. No. 1 being do the drag in reverse [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Equal riders, equals skills and all that .. his Warrior won't beat a stock EX. He's probably pulling 22hp with his mods, and even that's stretching it probably ... but as the old saying goes .. never say never.

 

I think the Warrior got you beat there for being underrated ... nobody gives the Warrior any credit at all. It's not the fastest quad on the market, but guess what .. neither is the 400EX. Yeah the Warrior is old, and heavy, but it's got heaps of torque for a 350 air cooled, and other than a lack of power is one of the better hill climbers available due to it's "heavy" front end. And on top end it's not a hell of a lot slower than the EX which is lighter and much more powerful. It's not as quick by a long way, but still for all, it can get up there in speed for a dinosaur.

Give the kid some slack .. let the video disproove it before you start laying down a load of smack on him. He might just embarass you!!

I'm actually thinkin on a 400ex as my next purchase actually .. give the wife my Warrior.

 

I would eat a warrior for lunch and I'am pushin 250lbs. He11 the guy could weigh 120lbs and I would still smoke him.

 

You've also got a whole $hitload more mods than he does too .. we were talking about Stock EX

 

i was asking if they were going to make any improvements to it cuz no one on here is going to tell me that they will hang with the ltz400 just ask my room mate sitting here he got the honda we race every day thats why he is putting a sparks racing full exhaust on and jet it no i well tell u that the honda r good bikes but what im saying they need to make the bike keep up with the ltz400
