I've been thinking about adding a twist throttle to my 300EX. And i've noticed quite a few people have put them on ATVs

What are the pros and cons?

Thanks all

I say stay with the thumb.I have a twist on my 250r and it is the worst mod on it.The only reason i don't put the thumb back on is because that is a waist of money. When U hit jumps it si hard to keepm throttle control. It is a real bear in whoops to.The onbly thing I do like about it is drag racing U just roll on the thrrottle.Wheelies are also harder especailly on a 2 stroke when it hits the power band and pulls your wrist back. Well that is what I think.

Thanks for the opinions.

I guess i could get one and see if i like it. But that's a little off.

I have to get my Works Rear shock first....! Isn't going to do me much good since all i do is bottom out

Does a Twist throttle give better throttle response?

For just screwing around I prefer the thumb throttle, but for those long stretches going in a straight lines I perfer the twist throttle on my 400EX.

I have a twist throttle and i think it is one of the best mods on my quad. I had 2 dirt bikes before i got my blaster so thats probably why i like it so much.

Look in the classified adds at all of them for sale that should tell you something about them. I have one for sale in there for a banshee. They suck.
