I was wondering if anyone has a solution for dull areas where the finish wears off like on side of gas tank and other areas that were rubbed heavly by muddy legs and objects.Maybe a little clear coat over area.???

you can get it at local dealers, or from rocky moutain as well as many other dealers. it works but you have to sand bad area and then apply the soultion they give you in the kit. easier way is to just spray son of gun on it your quad will look brand new

Will the plastic renew last like the original finish or wear off pretty quick.

it will last almost as long but one kit has enough in it to do 3 quads so you'll have plenty left over to do it again if it wears off
