Your in luck . I am in the process of getting my big bore done as I speak and should have it by the 22nd of this month.Mickey Dunlap is doing mine since I live fairly close to him.The price just for the 330 kit is $275 and $130 for the re-sleeve. That's without labor charges. He tells me that the machine will be very torquey and that yes it will beat out a 400 if you go even deeper, which I'm going to do later on. I had him install the kit put in new valve springs and an oil cooler and it cost me $785. I wanted the cam but fell short on money( the joys of being a home owner) however that is why he installed the springs for me because I am putting in the cam this winter. I don't want to bore you but if you need to know more on costs or mods let me know I love to talk wheelers!!

I have done several kits in 250 and 300exs. No it will not out run a stock 400 ex. Now if you do alot more work and a lot more money it will keep up with a stock 400ex. Now for the down side when it is time for rebuild you pay the price again for resleeve and all. drop a 10 to one pistion in. For around $125.00 boring and all, It is the most fun for the buck.

will a 10 to 1 piston run with a 330 Kit?

I'm going to get my 300 Rebuilt this winter and i was wondering about this. I figure since it's 6 years old it needs to be done.

Luckywilson. Do you do these 330 kits? And rebuilding?

Moundsville isn't 15 minutes from me!

Well all i want right now is a big bore kit for woods riding to make it a little more snappy. I already ordered 22-11-9 dirt devils which should help give me a little more traction. What do you guys think of the amp link? will it make my suspention softer? Ive played around with the suspention settings and none help so will the link help?

Racing is about speed. But a larger displacement isn't going too win you the race. Technique is what wins the race!!! Ask any racer, and they will tell you that handling and weight come before power in any type of atv racing.
Get the machine faster through the corners, then worry about strait-away speed.... The races are won in the corners.....
