Oil is always a controversial subject! You should get a hundred different opinions. I run Honda's oils and they are more expensive, but at least I know what I am getting.
In my autoclutch bikes (Ranchers, Recon, 250EX) I run Honda GN4. In my fully manual clutch bikes (400EX, Z400) Honda HP4 without moly. TRX450R (split case, transmission is seperate from engine) Honda HP Trans Oil in the transmission and Honda HP4M with moly, in the engine.
GN4 is doino oil and is compatible with the autoclutch, and HP4 is a synth/petrolium blend.
