anybody have or know of directions or a web site that
can tell me the proper way to clean and set up a
carb for this bike? I just got one for my daughter
it starts first pull and purrs like a kitten BUT bogs
down under any load. any info or suggestions
would be appreciated

Check your points and see if they are burnt or pitted. Then check your point timing. Set the point break about 1/4" befor the F. When the motor is cold check your valves the intake is .002 and exhaust is .003. That may take care of it. If it idles good that means that your pilot circuit is working.

Liquidplumber, how much did you spend on that bike. i found one in my local paper for 350 and wondered if that is a good deal. havent seen it of course. its a great starter bike, i had one when i was 6 it was the best.
