I have a Z400 (great quad) but it doesn't quite have the power even after pipe/jet/K&N. But my quad is financed. is it worth it to trade it in and get the 450r or mod out mine and still have a Z?

A piped Z is no slouch. I would be happy riding a Z if that was all I had!

is it worth it? my friend...the question is. how much is it worth to you?

you'll never make your money back on a quad. once you've come to grips with that. you need to make a decision on how bad you want it. because thats what we're really talking about here. you want whats new. with your six pack rack...i don't think your racing any motos. that said. you don't really need a TRX.

you want what new and thats understandable. how bad and at what price? is what you need to figure out.

i chose to bite the bullet and by the YFZ now...enjoy it today while im trying to sell the raptor. i'm more likely to hold out for a better price on the raptor because i don't have the voice/urge in my head telling me to jump at the first offer so i can get a YFZ. either way...i lose money and so will you.

still want the TRX? if so, just buy it!

That's the truth!! It takes most people a long time to learn that one!

You should never do a return on investment (ROI) on a quad purchase because there isn't any other than the fun you will have.
If you want it and can afford to pay for it- buy it

That's really funny. I always get a good kick out of seeing those things. Not saying anything negative, to me it's just kinda like seeing a cute little puppy and saying...ahhh, look at the little fella. Since I built my 250r, there are a few things that are still works in progress. One of them is the reserve on my fuel tank. If I run out of gas, I have no backup. So when I went to Glamis, I had to carry one of those 1 gallon gas tanks strapped to my front bumper. I could just see the hamster wheels turning in people's head's as I drove by and they thought- "Man, someone should get that guy a six pack-rack."
