hi, some ppl, say that they have no air filter lids on but wouldn't they're filter get dirty or full of sand or snow??? and does taking off the cover really make that much of a difference????

 

u can easily clean the air filters but its good to get a new one every now and then. and it give the engine more air.i took off my lid and my friend changed the jet for it and i could tell i difference in aceleration but not top end. so if your askin me, its a good thing and can make a difference.
