300ex camshaft

just pulled my cam out and was wondering wich would be the best for more low and mid power and should i go ahead and change the piston while im already in the motor. and also how hard are the 2 hex bolts torqed inside the head,i tried on them for an hour before i gave up on them.

i know white brothers, and web cam (www.webcaminc.com) both have a wide range of cams for low and top end power. I recently took the whole top end apart on my 300ex and found none of the bolts to tight to handle with a little luvin and some good tools.

go the high compression piston while in the neighbour hood......port and polish it.....don't tell your mates you did it......suprise em all

will i need to run higher than 93 octane if i go with the high comp. piston
