more shock questions. Works triple rates, Quadstar back
#1
Will the Works Triple Rates(without res) and Quadstar rear(with res) work good for trail riding and meduim jumps? I want something i'm not going to bottom out.
will the shocks help with bump steer? And smooth out landings more?
Will i notice a huge increase in riding smoothness? Should i go for the 100 more and get the Res?
Just what does the Res do anyway?
I was obsessed with getting +2 a-arms but really, the 300EX is supposed to be one of the best handling quads, why mess with it!

Every quad I'v ever owned, I always put works shocks on.They are simpley the best for woods riding and all around play riding. One question though is why not works on the rear too?Resivors are to hold extra oil to aid in cooling and help so the shock doesn't fade. If all you do is woods ride I really don't think you need them so save the extra $150 and have fun.

hey guys I read in an avertisment for works shocks that they could add up too 2" of travel. is this true for the 300ex? also Im thinking about going with some wider a-arms in the future I heard the 400ex will fit, could I still use shocks that fit the 300ex with this set up? or should I just get after market a-arms. thanx

The Works shocks for the front of the 300EX do add a couple of inches of travel, but I've never ridden them to see how they handle.
check out my site for a 400EX A-arm conversion on a 300EX.
