Default noise in engine

recently I went out for a ride and everthing was fine with my bike
and then it sounded diffrent It was it wouldn't get louder if i reved it up but it sounded like gears or piston slap maybe what does piston slap sound like
I has just been rebuild
I just changed the trans oil to see if there was any metal shaving in the oil there was not. It sounds like something spining in a cricle rather than a rod going up and down
It hasn't changed the performance of the R yet but i want to fix it before it does
If anyone has any ideas i would be greatly apriciated any ideas ar better than no ideas i have done everthing i can think of i have been running 97 octane gase for a little bit because the gas station ran outr of a 100 octaine it has a esr 310 kit on it
Thanx Rusty

is it making a klanking sound and is loud at idle. maby your rod bearing. how many top ends have you gone through on your crank?

It is not klancking it is more of a metal on metal wine rather than a klank and it just gets faster then you rev the engine not so much louder
