atc 110 electrical problems, help!
#1
I have a 1982 honda atc 110. Recently it stopped getting fire to the spark plug. (new spark plug) I had the coil checked at the local honda shop. It was ok. When I pull the pull cord the head light tries to come on so I asumed the stator is functional. The only thing else I can think of is the pulse generator or the ignition box under the gas tank. Does anyone have any ideas
Thanks

chris,
The lighting coil sends current to the lights and not the primary ignition coil.
I would first swap the CDI box to eliminate that since it is the easiest thing to swap. Any 110/185/200 up to the 1982 models will work on yours.
The stator [primary coil] is available from the aftermarket for under $15.00
