450r Vs Banshee
DeathMachine420 LOL "I would say stock vs. stock that the Banshee might get off the line a little quicker, but the450R would prolly take it in the top"
Got that all wrong. The Banshee screams on Top End. The 450r might get off the line quicker and through the first couple gears (2nd Gear) but after that its all Banshee.

i agree yamaharider, the banshee will have to wait untill its powerband kicks in to smoke my 450r. but my 4 stroke will smoke your banshee, bansheeorbust, if your trying to trailblaze on a mountainside at low speeds. youll be tryin to get that thing started changin plugs while im pulling away. had many 2 strokes...they dont run right enless your wide open throttle...and then sometimes they dont run right...
oh, and do they even give any kind of warrantee on the banshee from the dealership??--i know they dont like to finance them because there not worth much after you take delivery. not to say that there not the sickest machine out with the right mods....but only if your ridin them like you stole it.

Oddysseyjunk- Whats done to your 450 because I know for a fact that if its Stock I would beat it with either one of My Quads. It might take me alittle to catch ya but I know I would. Honda makes 1 sweet bike and thats the Legendary 250r, hopefully the 450r Takes its place but for right now Honda has to watch the YFZ450.

First off if you foul a plug your jetting is off. Simple as that. I can lug mine all day and never have I fouled a plug nor have my fiends. This BS rumor is from people who dont know what there doing with a 2-stroke. This is why we have 4 strokes. So I am glad you found a bike you like. Now as for the speed thing. I have less then $800 dollars in mods and your gona have to do some good engine work to beat me $$$$$$$$$$. But I guess thats the reward for the few of us who love to wrench. We get to go faster. It's ok though you get to turn safer.

I own both and stock for stock, i think a 450r would take a banshee. a banshee stock is around 33 horsepower, a stock 450r has 37 horsepower, am i right? i think a 450r would take a banshee off the line through the first 3 or 4 gears or so, but once a banshee hits maybe 4th and so on, then it could take a 450r on top end. My 450r feels MUCH quicker than my banshee when it was stock, just personnal experience. And yes, if you foul a plug putting around, then you need to run some different oil and rejet or something, mine has NEVER fouled a plug just putting around, BUT my friends modded RM125 does but it also has a big ol 40mm (or something like that) Mikuni carb on it
