I have problems with ground clearence on my 400ex, right now i have 20" fast trekers on and i wanted to put bigger tires to boost up the clearence but my friend that works on them said it would put strain on the motor. Is this true? any suggesttions of tires used for trails and how big?

 

You can put bigger tires on your quad... You need to change the gearing to compensate for the bigger tires....

 

your best bet would be stick with the 209s and get Razrs or Holeshots [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. i jsut got a new 400ex and put Razrs on it and its a beast [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] if you want to go up in size try 22s. my neighbor has 22s on his warrior and loves em. Mudlites are ncie [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I have 20" fast trekkers right now and they only measure 18.5". I have herd good thing about razrs and razr2 i think i'm gunna go with the 2's.
