I have never driven a stock 300 ex before but I know that this is fast. I can pop the front whees up in 1st or 2nd gear like nothing I love it. I have a short vid of it if someone can post it for me I don't know how!

Thanks! I didn't think that it was but I just was wondering how fast the 400 ex's were. This is plenty fast for me though!

 

yea tje top speed on a stock 300ex is about 57 mph but i dont know how fast yours is because you have the exhaust. do u know anyone with a stock 300ex? if you do try to ride that one and see how much of a difference there is.

 

Right now we are making a heat shield for my exhaust pipe because it melts your pants dose anyone else have this problem if so what was your fix. It no longer has the stock shield because of the DG front pipe!

 

i dont have any experiance with that because i have the stock pipe with the shield but i do know it gets really really hot!!! hope you can come up with a way to make a heat shield and also let me know what you come up with.

My brother inlaw came up with a prototype lastnight the pic is on my page you can check it out. It is made of exhaust pipe and will be painted with manifold paint (BLACK)
