I'm considering buying a older 300EX. It's in fairly good shape mechanicly, but it looks rough. Whats the best replacement plastic for it. Is there a down side to running racing front plastic with the add-on flares? I like the look of it in 1 pc.
Also, is there anything that I really should watch out for on an old 300ex?
Thanks!!

Thanks to all!! I have rode Warriors, Banshee's, Wolverines, and now A Polaris. (Just slowing down in my older age) I will be letting my oldest son ride the EX sometime in the near future. I really like the size of it for him, and most I've been around seem to last forever. The rear axle has been changed to a Durablue, and the bearings have been replaced with it. (not sure exactly when, but not to long ago) The engine has a web cam and had the head slightly shaved for more compression. (it still runs on pump gas) It has new tires, DG front bumper and rear grab bar. It also has a Big gun slip on pipe. (I think thats the brand) Do you think this thing would be worth 2 grand? Opions anyone?
