What 4x4 quads have you wheelied?
Just wondering what 4x4 quads that people have wheelied. Post your answers and state whether you can do it on flat ground without popping the auto clutch or standing on the rack.
This should be interesting.

No offense but you must not have spent alot of time on an auto clutch bike or you just don't know what I'm saying. On auto clutch bikes there is a "false neutral" if you hold the shifter lever up (or down if you are riding a pre 84 honda atc). All you have to do is hold the shift lever up and give it gas and then let the shifter drop. This does the same thing as dumping the clutch on a manual bike. Even big bulky bikes with only decent power will respond to this trick but it is not good on the tranny.

I have wheelied a Grizzly 600 and 660, the new Honda 650 ( very nice balance point and no cvt ), Honda Foreman 400 or 450 not sure, Polaris 400 Magnum I think it was, Scrambler's, Wolverine, Sportsman 500 H.O., an old Honda 300, Kawasaki 300, Sportsman 700, and I think it was a Timberwolf 4x4. The only quads that I had to do the clutch trick with was the Honda 300, Kawi 300 and the Wolverine. All the others I just leaned back and pinned the throttle. Polaris's suck for wheelies, the cvt isn't as responsive as Yamaha's. The Grizzly 660 and the Honda 650 are wheelie machines.
Still waiting to ride a Prarie 650 or 700.
I consider standing on the rack somewhat cheating unless it is seriously underpowered.

My Rincon will do it, no problem. It actually does it too much sometimes. Flat ground, feet on the floor boards sitting, in normal position, no tug of the handle bars. Punch the gas and that sucker points to the sky for as long as I want it too. The reason I say it does it too much is because when racing my friends (my friends 700 efi the other day also) if I don't launch just right it jumps clear off the ground and rides a huge wheelie which, of course, slows me down.
Look at my avatar and pics page to see one of my wheelie pics.
