I have black flames on my 400ex (painted on {Krylon Plastic Paint}) and I took off the flames on the sides, but kept the middle ones. I thought it looked dumb, I'm going to paint new ones though. Should I make them black and fade into red? This is on yellow plastic, with cut fenders. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

that paint actually sticks to plastic thats under the kind of abuse that quad plastic gets??

 

Yes, It sticks quite well actually, I put several coats of clear coat on though. Just be careful when using the pressure washer. You can pressure wash it about 2 times before needing to put on more clear coat. But if you just use a hose. You shouldn't have any problems. It bonds to plastic really well though.
