DOOd i dunno what u been smoking but how can u come off saying we will be more happy with a 400ex wit little modes over a 250r in a brand new frame? The 250rEX would be far supieror then a modifed ex. DOnt u realize why alot of pros arnt running exs? It may come mostly down to the rider but a rider cant get the holeshot unless he has the power too.. Did u ever think of that? I bet u didn't. And how can u also say the 400ex is more relaible the the R? The ex has been out for 2 years and most people havn't had a proablem with them,, but then again how do u think they are going to be 14 YEARS FROM now? DO u think that they will be on the same piston? DO u think they will be has sorth after as teh 250r and holds it valeue? Proably not. The 400ex has a great handle chasis and a have decent motor. Are either of those high tech? Oviously..NO. The chaisi is great but if u want a high tech frame it gotta be twin spar alumin. I wouldnt even call after makret frames high tech. The 250r motor is high tech for the 80s. The raptor isnt even that high tech. 5 valve technology has been around since the 80s!!!!! SUre it is new to us atvers tho.. The only bike in the near future that is high tech for this day and age in powersports is the FX400. Frame and motor are tottaly radical. But some people are afraid of findign parts for it.. I am not. 2 dealers with in 50 miles and one in 10 mintues from my house!
