Is there anyway to make my stock exhaust sound deeper as if i had an aftermarket one with out loosing power, maybe even gain some?

take out the peice on the bottom of the very end of it. its to blow out the exhuast. I was gonna do it but the bolts brke off so I let it off. it makes it deaper sounding. no performance gain though.
