BEST ATV TIRES
#1
I am looking for some good tires for my 400EX. The conditions I ride is a lot of sand, dirt, and tundra grass. The stock tires perform great for these conditions, but I am looking for something else. I put on some turf tamers on the back when my bike was almost stock and it seemed to bog in the sand and loose power. On the dirt roads it handle well.
I have been eyeballing the new MAXXIS iRAZR radials M943 and M944 but they do not come out until July or so.
On a 10 inch and 11 inch wide tire does the 11 inch grab so much traction that is will rob some power out of the bike, or will it handle the same as a 10 inch wide tire????
SO my terrian is sand, soft soil, and intermediate to hard dirt.
What do you people think??

I think regular Maxxis Razr's are some of the best. I have a set on my ATV and they are 11 inch's wide. They didn't take away any power. I like them so much I might get some for my 250 EX. They handle exellent. They hook up good in the soft stuff and work extremley good in the dirt and grass.

Have any of you seen the new Maxxis iRazr tires. The new radial that looks like the stock 400Ex tires that are 6 ply?? M943 and m944 they were in the ATV Sport magazine. The issue with the Honda 450 and Yamaha 450 on the cover. It was the Mazzis 2004 line up.
If you have, what do you think of those tires??
