Has anyone tried going to a 15 tooth front sprocket on a 450R? I ride real fast trails a lot and i keep hitting
my rev limiter.I know it is geared high in first,but i am rarely in first.My buddy has a 440ex,pipe,cam,kn filter,jetted..and he went 1 tooth gigger from stock and we are neck and neck.

 

i haven't tried it but i bet it will fit you might have to loss the case saver and if thats the case change to back sprocket

 

Actually,i did some calculations and the back one sounds the best.I called my dealer and they din't have a fiche for 450r yet.Does anyone know a part # for a 36 tooth rear sprocket?(if 38 is stock?).Where can i find one?

 

Get one for a 400ex, the front is the same. The rear looks the same.

 

Are you sure they are the same?I read another post that said that splines were different.I could get one easy if they are.If anyone knows for sure could you let me know.THANKS

 

Get the sprockets for the crf450, for reason i remember hearing the 400ex's does not work. Im not quite sure on that tho..

 

I just pulled both front sprockets from my quads. The 400ex sprocket will work on the 450, but the 450 sprocket won't bolt on (stay on) the 400.

 

I am talking about rear sprocket.I want to go from 38(stock) to a 36.I checked on the crf but only the front
is the same,the rear is way bigger.I need to know where to get one.Help PLEASE!!
