hi im a new member, and i have a question.
I have a 2002 Honda 450 and i need to find out how much new tires would cost, a rough estimate. And since you guys seem well educated on atvs i though this would be the proper place find out. My friends play on them hard and a few tires are slashed and cut, so if someone could help me out that will be great.

Maxxis Big Horn Radials are great all around tires. They run around 70 dollars each.

I know that on my 01 rancher there were bridgestone dirthooks. Typically the oem tires are just as expensive as aftermarket on utility quads, and the aftermarket tires are much nicer.

 

to find out what the stock tires are, just look in the manual and it should say. you could get them at the dealer u got the 450 from.

The stock tires on the 450's are Dunlops. I just got a set for my 2001 Honda Foreman 450ES. I got all four tires from Hondapartsworld. I talked to Stan Lee. He sold them to me for 29 dollars a piece.
