2 strokes still run with the big dog (Raptor)

The Raptor will be much more reliable than a two stroke. I think Yamaha is building the best all round sport quad ever. More than enough power, good handling and all that. Highly modify a Raptor, then run it against a highly modified 250r or
banshee then see how it goes. Seems to me to be a good alternative choice to what is out there in the Sport atv world.

you guys are talking about running heavily modded banshees and 250r's up to the raptor, what are you gonna do when aftermarket starts releasing parts for the raptor? (besides eat dirt and cry because you lost) Just a thought

Guys, I bought a Yamaha yz426 bike and the 4 stroke rocks. It puts out close to 50hp. Think of the potential in that 660. Yamaha really knows how to get the most out of the 4 stroke.
Look at what they get out of that ds650 with the Ron Wood's mods, 70hp. (I don't really appreciate the $4000 cost of the upgrades though)
The machine hopefully will come with ~45-50 hp. Look what the 400EX does with a measly 28hp. Tim Farr is winning on his yz400 quad.
Can't wait to read the ride reviews.
But on the other hand I could buy a trashed 250R and totally rebuild it for the price of a Raptor..... Always a thought....
