Just take a spray lube (NOT W-D-40) and spray any moving part in your front end you can't hurt anything. Just stay away from your brakes

I'm glad someone brought this up . . . we have the same problem with both our 250ex's. They sound like a squeaky bed in a cheap motel! I'll have to try some of the recommendations here, especially since my 250 is for sale right now - I wanted to correct the squeak before someone comes to look at it.

At first I thought it was kinda a dumb thread, just nit-picky, but it seems like a lot of people are having this issue. I'm glad I brought it up. Hope we find a fix.

Remove the bushings right out of the a-arms. Then take some greese and greese all around the inside of the arms and the bushings. Put them back on and it should work fine. The squeek is from the bushing rubbing up against the inside of the a-arms.

When I installed my new A-arms and shocks I used antiseeze on the bolts and nuts. The bolts growing through the bushings on the A-arms. YOu would think that this would keep it from squeaking also. My instructions on my A-arms says to use WD-40 on the bushings once or twice a year. I think I will use a silicon spray instead.

i jsut lived with the squeak and it went away after it got a little dirty. i've used the silicon spray, jsut never on anything that needed it. i use it in my spud gun, very explosive, and it lubes up the barrel.

For bushings, spray lithium grease (like you would use on your car door latches) should work well, and you won't need to disasemble anything. The grease is in a solvent that will penetrate, and then the solvent dries and leaves the grease behind.

That's what I tried was white lithium grease, just not on the a-arm bushings. I'm going to tear it down this week sometime. I'm still messing with my son's lt50 right now.
