Will it not improve it by that much much? What would you recomend for the recon then.

I would just get a nice set of tires, and go truckin through the woods. I would leave an all time 4x4 stock personally excpet for tires. they come equipped stock w/ everything you need for the most part. But if your desp. for more ***** then get a pipe.
