yeah i would go with the 300ex over the 250 even though its more $$$$. I've driven a 250 and they're nothing special. I think you would get alot more outta a 300 just my opinion

go for the 300ex, its a way better bang for the buck than the 250ex is. the 300ex is more like a sport quad while the 250ex is shaft driven, and auto-clutch. if you want a more fun quad get the 300ex, its just sooo much better than the 250ex

What is funny about that? 300ex is much easier to modify because of the aftermarket parts available.

I dont see whats so funny about it either. NE way I think the 300ex may be better for you (not cause i own one) because they do have more mods than a 250ex, they are funner to me cause its manual, better suspension for jumping, easy as crap to do wheelies, I THINK IT LOOKS GOOD, it has more umph. thats why i like it better, but buy what you want.

OK, I'm going with the 300. Could you all please tell me a pipe to increase its top speed without losing low end! DMC Alien or Fatboy 4? Look for some of my other post when I make them. Thanks

That is a good price. Did Honda lower the price on the 250EX like they did by $500 on the 300EX?
Honda did lower the price of the 250ex by like 400 bucks. I had to drive about 3 hours for mine cause of the good deal I was getting, but yes basically you are paying about a GRAND more average for the 300ex than the 250ex. It really is a good deal for the what you get.

I never said that it wasent easier to mod. But I just hate the way the new 300ex have those handlebars with the plastic ones. It would loook nice without them.. and cut fenders.. I think the 250ex looks way cooler and i like where the light is placed. Guess there is somethings i just dont like about some atv's
