just weld it onto your rim since you can't mount it onto spokes like youwould on a bicycle

What specific models are you guys using? I was really interested in the Cateye Enduro II, but when I double check my math, to see if tire diameter would work, it didn't. Specific models that work would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind my comments on the Cateye Enduro II not working (on paper). It does. The Enduro II accepts wheel circumference of 100cm-300cm, or about 39-117 inches. A 22" diameter tire (with ~4psi, my fronts measure 21") has a circumference of 69.12 inches. I've researched some mountain bike sites and heard good reviews about this model. Good durability was one of its strong points. I've found a site, which I can't remember now, that had the Cateye Enduro II for about $25.75 with shipping. That's more than $4 under the MSRP. When I find the site, I'll post it.

azelmo,
How fast does your sport go? Is it faster than a 400ex? With your speedo comparing to a 400ex beside you how fast do you think a 400 goes?

I just ordered a black Cateye Enduro II at Price Point for $25.73.

Where is everyone mounting the sensors? Rear brake rotor and swingarm, or front spindle and rim? There was a speedo article in the 12/99 Dirt Wheels, and they did it at the rear brake rotor and swingarm.

OK guys. I went to mount my Enduro I just picked up and the cord is way to short. Anybody else have this problem?

Yea, most of the bike speedos come with cable lengths to mount...well, on a bike...so you might have to lengthen the cable.
