Default Do I need 4 Mud Tires or 2 w/ 2WD??

Just what the title says, do i need to get 4 mud tires or 2 mud tires if i have a 2WD Rancher???

I would probably get 2 agressive mud tires for the back and then get some fairly cheep but not skimpy treads for the front, w/ a 2x4 you have to be more concerned w/ stearing acuracy more than all out grip, my bro got some 489 for his 2x4 and they work allright in the mud, or you can get Mud Lites all the way around and it will all match and they are fairly cheep. My bro got them for his back tires and the man at the dealership said that the only diffrance between the 25" and the 26" is the deepness of the tread so they would not add much more weight. Just something to think about.
