Anyone see the article in last Dirt Wheels about developing a light 4x4 race 450R? Chain driven front and rear, slightly heavier..etc..cool idea. The future? Maybe not.....

Who knows with modern tech, maybe? Titanium frame, parts, etc...? To be competitive it's gotta be light to compete w/ 2WD's. OF course, it might need it's own class. I'm sure it's a price vs. market thing. Who can afford that much high quality, high R&D kind of equipment anyway? I guess April Fools after all, eh? it was so much as an April Fools joke. They actually suggested it to Honda. It started as a joke then they thought it would be a good idea. But i really doubt honda will make 1.

Since you are talkin about this kinda stuff, If you have ATV 4Wheel Action magazine did anyone see the makeover with the VTwin 1100? They put a Warrior V Twin (cruiser) motor onto a grizzle 4x4 body. They are trying to convince yamaha to make a road legal quad.
