The NADA low price is $2995. and the high price is $3940. I would not sell it for even $3000. unless it has been beat all to heck. If people do not want to pay $3000. then you need to find new people that will. Is it still in decent shape? Are the tires worn down? Are there a lot of scrapes and scratches? Did you start at $3000.?
You need to decide exactly how much you want to get out of it. If you want to get $3500. or as low as $3000. then all it takes is time. Don't go under your decided price. Once you've decided on a low price then you should add a few hundred on top within the $3000. to $3900. range. Example: Put it in the paper for $3500. Someone comes to look at it. You say that it is only a 2003. (Do you owe on it? If so, how much?) They say : how much do you have to get out of it? You say: the high NADA price is a little over $3900. and you're already a few hundred under at $3500. Say: if you really want to buy it then I'll take $3200. (still above your low price) If no one else has shown an interest determines if you go down any further. If not, after you go back and forth a little you say that you'll take $3000. but no lower. If they try to get you down further. Tell them you'll leave it sit there for that price. Don't act desperate! Look at thepapershop.com under atv. There are two 2003's on there for $4000. and $4200.
I would give you $2200. because you seem desperate. If I was selling it and if it's in good shape. I'd go no lower then $3600. or $3700.

i dont owe any money on it. i paid it cash in full. It was my first quad and my neighbors kept telling me it was the 1 for me. After about two months i found out that it isnt the one for me. not big enough in size or power. I was going to keep it and mod it, but it wouldnt make sense. it will cost soo much just to keep up with piped 400. i kept trying to sell it but no buyers. I kept putting in a lower and lower price. I think im goin to try agian. put it up for 3000. I know its retail is higher but 400 are going just a little bit above 3000. how much would i get if i traded it in? also is it worth to buy brand new. they add so much extra fees. gets me mad!

Sometimes you're just giving the quad away when you trade it. They will usually go down on a price without a trade. So when you trade they don't go down the amount they should to start with.
Get a price on a new quad without them knowing about the trade in. Then tell them you want the trade off of the already reduced price.
They might give you $3000. considering the high price is $945. more. LThey can make something off of it.
