NEED HELP!
I bought a 03 300ex last year. It was my first quad. My neighbor told me that is was the quad for me. I would grow into it. well it was the quad for me, for about 4 months. then i started wanting something bigger, not just displaccment wise, but also the over all size. i tried to sell it but nobody wanted to give me what i wanted for it. Im still trying to sell it for 3000. i thought this is a good price. i really dont want to go down much more. Im wondering if i should just trade it in. I loved this honda so deff. staying with honda. Also instead of just buying the 400ex should i just go for the 450r. So i could grow into it.

if you trail ride get the 400. The 450r is too fast for woods. The gearing ratio isnt set right for woods. 400ex is less expensive and better for that riding you do.
now, as for you 300ex, if you can find a honda dealer that takes trade ins you could do that. But you wont get $300 for it.

If all you do is trailride, I would say 400EX. You can hop it up as you need more power, suspension, etc. However, if there's a chance you might start jumping and possibly even racing or you just want to have a bad-@$$ quad, get the 450R and you definitely won't grow out of it.
