400ex vs modded blaster

i have a 2003 400ex jetted but stock and my friend have a blaster that he modded out this winter.he put a toomey pipe,k&N,jetted and bored 0.10 he say that he will smoke me. is he right because i think i can beat a blaster with these mod easily

on a straight drag, u would win. He wouldnt be too far behind unless ya'll raced for like 1/4 mile. Blasters have good acceleration because they are 2strokes. Now, if you were trail riding in the woulds, both bikes would be equal, and its down to the best rider.

noway! unless the blaster is extended with a decent suspension theres no way it will keep up in anything! i had a blaster with fmf pipes, boyesen, reeds, bored over, geared down and a stock 400ex would embarass me. The 400ex isnt as slow as most people think, given the right rider it can stay right behind my R! (on a trail)

thats not nescesarily true. recently at Fort Polk (enduro trails) me and some friends rode. I had a 400ex and smoked everyone. 1 of my friends that had a modded blaster said it was because my bike was better. So i switched bikes with him and i stayed ahead the whole time.
i also has a friend that drags a blaster. It goes 105mph, no joke.
