Default muffler bearings

ok i know that they are made up

but what exactly would it be
why would a muffler need bearings?

im thinking about making one

Cant install muffler bearings without installing a McGalfelator cap first.

OK......call me an idiot, BUT my uncle used to work on tanks in the army( way back![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]) He said some of the old tanks had muffler bearings!.....that is not what they called them but it went on the muffler where the track ran over it!..........Andrew Thomas...LOVE the pic[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

wuts the point of the bearing...does it reduce sound or back presure or some junk?

I think it was so when the track had slack in it it would ride on the bearing rather than wear a hole in the muffler
