i bought a 96 300ex it will only start in nutral. It wont start in a gear? if so whats wrong ?

pull the clutch in then try smart one

Some times the switch in the clutch perch sticks or goes bad, there is a phillips screw on the sde that hold the button in. If you take this out and clean it, it may help the problem of starting in gear.
