I have an '01 Rubicon with a Warn 424 and pretty worn Vampires, about half tread. It's got a little over 5,000 miles. We're going to sand the plastic down to remove scratches and then put another gloss on it just like it was from the factory. It will actually look pretty good once this is done since the guy before me took great care of it. It runs brilliantly. I must admit, I got a great deal on it for $3000. Can I turn around and sell it for $4000?

Already did. Dealer trade-in value was $3180 and the other figure (forgot what it was called) was like $4600. Should I choose a middle ground then?

 

yes i would shoot for 4,000 see what happens

 

As long as the frame and underside isn't beat up, you should be able to start and 4000. You can always go down from there.
