Default Buying a 250r

trx 250r and lt250r's are both great bikes.the trx is a much better MX bike while i think LT is a better trail bike.it has a powervalve and has good low end.it all depends if you want a solid bike or one to fix up.

One more question, pricing plastics for the honda. If I where to buy the newer style hood, could i mount my old headlight into the area on that hood(save me from buying a new light??)

You will have to find a head light off of a 88 or 89 to mount in the hood

Default Buying a 250r

Well folks thanks for the advice. I am buying the 1992 lt250r. Its in much better shape (except fadded plastics) paying $2400 CDN

The guy with the trx250r decided he is going to sell it on ebay, so i said good luck with that and walked away.

Ok I gots a question for you guys now. Had the quad running, and heard a minor tinging noise comming from the engine. Is this normal for a 2stroke quad? (not that loud)

I am used to sleds, but new to two stroke singles. Any input would be appreciated.
