Default 450R losing power

After about 15-20 minutes of riding my r starts to lose power and eventually dies. All fluid levels are correct, air filter is clean, gas is new. This is still on the original tank of gas that the dealer put in it. I rode it with no problems during the break in period but now it is losin power and wont rev. Has anyone had this prob. or can you think of anything I could check before takin it to the dealer. Also it seems to be getting HOT, the warning light has not came on but it just seems to me that its getting hotter than it should. Please help, i want to ride it not repair it already!!!

Man, take it to the dearler right away. As long as the gas is on and all the fluids are correct don't mess around. It has a warranty for a reason. It could be several different things, but the beauty of buying new is not having to troubleshoot yourself. Keep us posted as to what you/they find.

You sure the fan didnt come on, the fan is very quiet no where near as loud as the one on your pred. I didnt even know mine was on til i look down at it.

Well thats odd, youd think the fan would come on before the coolant would start to boil.

I know on my old DS i had there was a fuse for the fan underneath the seat. Ive never seen a fuse on my 450r yet. Maybe its buried under the hood or maybe there are no fuses, i dont know. I'll check out the manual.

we couldnt find any...
he had to unhook his lights and add a teather to race... we followed the wires coming from the fan to see if the got unhooked or cut... and from what we see they are all intact and the way they should be.
