Default foreman 450 s 4x4 question

i currenty have a 300ex that i am selling. im 6'4'' and just need somethin bigger. i am torn between the z400 or the foreman 450 4x4. i know thats a huge differance in machines, but debating whether i want to spen the money on somethin a lil more practical and usefull then a sport quad. anyhow, i was just currious how fast the foreman 450 4x4 is in comparison to my 300ex? ive got 2 buddies with warriors and another one with a 300ex. im not lookin to break any land speed records i just want to at least be able to keep up with them. thanks, nathan.

Youll have a hard time keeping up, in a race theres almost nothing slower than a foreman. The honda shines in alot of areas, but not in a race. But thats not why people buy them, they have lots of low rpm torque, and can work and pull almost anything, and is ultra reliable. But it isnt quick, and doesnt handle like a sport.
If you buy the z400, they wont be able to keep up with you.
If you want a sporty utility, that will keep up with them, or even pass them...check out a 400 outlander, or 500 sportsman, or grizzly.

Default foreman 450 s 4x4 question

My Foreman 450ES will do 50mph and that is plenty fast for a vehicle with a 50 inch wheelbase.

Default foreman 450 s 4x4 question

The fastest I've driven my Foreman is 52 mph. 50 mph is the average top speed depending on things like hills and wind flow.

So far I have loved the 450. Traxlock is what makes this quad so much fun. 50mph is about max so you definately won't break any reacords on it but overall this is one fun all around wheeler.

Default foreman 450 s 4x4 question

I was trying to decide between a sport quad and the Foreman. I decided that a Foreman would be better for where I ride. Everyone I ride with has utility atv's. You really should get what you need.
Maybe if you get a utility the others will start to change over? Maybe not.

thanks fer all the replies guys. i still dont know what i want fer sure. id consider another brand of fourwheeler but the hondas are the best in my book. only reason im considering a z400 is cause honda doesnt offer what i want and suzuki does. guess ill keep thinkin bout it. nathan.
