i know alot of 300ex parts fit a 250x, will a stock 300ex carb and exhaust system fit a 250x. if the carb can fit , can i jet it??

 

Yeah the carbs are the same. You should just go to the dealer and buy some individual jets for it from keihin. Should be able to get you a five pack of jets for about $25.

 

The 300EX carb will fit, but don't bother if it's a performance gain questrion. You wouldn't be any better off with the 300 carb than your current 250X carb. They are basiccally the same carb with different tuning for the bigger displacement.

The exhaust systems will swap out. Both aftermarket pipes and the stock ones.

 

The 250x has a slightly better flowing exhaust to.

 

Yeea no need to switch to the 300ex carb unless your 250x's crab is messed up.

 

Anyone know of a good after market carb for the 300ex that will not break the bank?
