Geeze, it sounds to me like you are bashing the 450r. That statemement is hostile and rather childish IMO.

450R falling short?
Well you know what when someone makes comments to me like that I will defend myself. If you read the posts before that in each one of mine I kept saying all of these bad experiences I have heard about the 450R but I didn't experience them. Then in the 14th post down that guy I said that to wrote a smart a$$ post so yeah I'm gonna stop being a nice guy.

I just found something to make you look even more foolish. Take a look at the December 2003 issue of Dirtwheels Magazine. Read the article "Honda 450R Factory Ride". If you read carefully you will find......"Farr is scheduled to ride the Baja 1000 which runs in late November." The public has only been able to buy the 450R for 2 months but Pro racers have been able to get their hands on one since late 2003 early 2004. We're almost in May now................................

Pass the bowl 1BAD250R because whatever your smoking to make you see that while you were reading must be goood. If it was the Dec. 2003 issue, how could the pro riders that got it earlier been getting it SINCE 2004!? You almost made sense there buddy...
BTW..it came out at the very end of January/early February...like I said keep smoking that **** man!

You must be blind. You don't see the article on page 84 that says Tim Farr will be racing the TRX450R in November. I guess you don't know how magazines work but since that was a December issue that means it came out in November. And that means this article was written in late to mid October in order to meet the printing dead lines. What else ya got!

OK,my turn...Those 450Rs were early production units for the BAJA 1000.It is true "they weren't available to the public until late january/early february.I live on the east coast of Canada and I got the first one available(****000014).I realize you may have heard or seen some posts that do the 450R unjustice but a lot of them are replys from YFZ450 owners(what do you expect). To give yourself a better perspective try going to YFZ Central and read a few of those posts. The amount of threads regarding problems they are having (posted by the owners)may change your mind.I realize people have different preferences, but anyone that would say thr 450R doesn't perform to all the hype is WRONG! p.s.I agree with the HRC statement I put one in mine and WOW!

Now read this C-A-R-E-F-U-L-LY! I originally stated that some pro-riders got their 450R's in late 2003 and early 2004. That means, are you following me, that some teams got it in late 2003 (like Farr) and some teams got it in late 2004 (like other teams). How could you have confused that statement. Late 2003 and early 2004 represents the time span that certain teams got their quads. Farr just happened to be the first to get it. Ouch!
