i just took the airbox lid off and when i hit the gas, it sounds totally different. is this normal, and after u take the lid off are u supposed to do any thing different also. and if it matters i still have the stock airfilter. thanks

 

You'll notice after taking off the lid, if you ride around a little you'll feel your bike sputter and pop. Too much air intake, not enough fuel to match. It does sound cool though! Need to adjust air/fuel mix (jetting). I learned this right here on this forum!

 

yea u have to rejet higher or it can over heat. plus u wont feel any power increase unless u do
