gas for 400ex

i recently bought a 02 400ex. i was wondering what gas i should use? i would like to use midgrade b/c of the gas prices. would it be better to use premium? if so would it matter if i used midgrade/

some guys run regular, as long as there isnt detonation your good

Run premium. It's best for the 400ex. What's 20 cents more a gallon gonna hurt?

that is only a dollar for a 5 gallon jug, and you don't have to worry about the detonation then.
