300ex vs. blaster
#1
my little brother has a 1994 blaster now completely stock *took aftermarket LRD pipes off to make quieter* --- he is looking for more power once again and even a little bit more speed. He is limited on money but was thinking about either keeping the blaster, 300ex, or maybe even a warrior. What do you guyz suggest and what is the differences between ea. *pros/cons*

the 300ex has more power than the others but the warrior is a little i mean very little faster but hey amatures talk speed pros talk acceleration and handling and low end power witch the 300 wins easily over the others

The Blaster is a kick to ride, and there isn't any bike he is going to have more fun on! The engine has lots of hop-up potential.
The 300EX is a nice machine. Better suspension than the Blaster, and way more durable than the Blaster. The engine hops up pretty well. Great trail machine!
Avoid the Warrior! I know, I rode one for years. There are way better bikes out there these days.

To find lots of blaster hop ups go to trengaracing.com. Blasters are all they deal with. Pick upa 32mm flat slide carb, reeds and spacer, and a new pipe. True a 300ex is a great machine and I love Honda. Ride a 450r myself. You can build a Blaster that will blow away any modded 300EX out there.

so you guyz suggest to either get the 300ex OR build up his blaster with parts. He wants it to have more power w/o it getting loud, because he rides at night and noise is an issue here in town with ppl. so, any mods he can achieve that will give better power/speed w/o making it louder?
