Default question about adding Renthal bars to a 300ex

how can I remove the whole parking brake, reverse, and clutch perch?? I already have the parking brake block off, I'd like to just have an e-z pull clutch lever there, but what about the reverse thing?? on my 300, the reverse thing sticks, I mean I don't have to push the red button and pull the clutch in, all I have to do is be in Nuetral and pull the clutch in and put in in reverse. so can I remove that thing somehow???

any help greatly appreciated!!

The little arm for the reverse lock-out is by the right footpeg. If you take the cable off the arm , pull it back and then wire it back you could do away with that red button on the clutch lever. There is also two wires for the safety switch cut them off and splice the wires together.

ok thanks. I've already spliced together the wires so i can start it in any gear w/o having the clutch pulled in. I will try and do that with the reverse cable later, I'll let you know how I make out.
