Selling price for 300ex?
#1
I have a 1993 Honda 300ex that is in, what I'd consider, mint condition. Bone stock (besides seat cover, which I still have the brand new stock one for that), plastic excellent, original tires great, mechanicals great, etc.
I'm looking for a ballpark price as to what I should list it for in the local paper. Was thinking about starting out at $3000 and coming down from there. Does this sound fair?
Thanks.

OMG that thing is 11 years old. My plastic looked like crap after 3 months. Has it ever been riden? If it still has the stock tires then it must be pretty low mileage. Yep its pretty hard to put a price on them. Ive seen them go for $500 to 2500 depending on condition. Id say your in the ballpark.

A 1993 is still a 1993.
$1500-$2000 is my call.
You could buy a much newer 400EX for $3000
