I would say $1300-$2400.... Years do matter as much as condition....I sold my 99' 300ex for $2300...And bought a 01 400ex for $2700...Ever since the 450R came out the bottom dropped out of the 300ex and 400ex... Because the market is flooded with people tring to trade up to to 450R...

 

The 300ex is geared toward a different pilot than the 400ex or 450R. I would get a 300ex for a 14 year old, but definitely not a 400 or 450 for the same aged kid. Therefore, I don't really see the bearing of the 450R's price on the 300ex. Just my opinion.

Different markets for different states, but a 300ex here in california, regardless of year, except if it is new, goes for around $2200-3000
