how is it to nstall a big bore 310

how easy is it to install a 310 big bore kit yourself. waht about carb and pipes i have an fmf fatty pipe and a stock carb.
any problems any info, stories appreciated.

A 310 is a cylinder for a 250R, obviously...
If you have a bolt on head its pretty easy. Basically the same as the typical rebuild you do every once in a while. If you can do your own regular engine work, you should be able to tackle the 310.
I dont know about a pv though, I have never installed one of those.

Its the same as if you were rebuilding it. The kit comes with not just the cylinder and head but all the parts that you need are included. The stock carb isnt really big enough to supplie this kit with enough fuel for max performance. I would recommend the PWK38mm A/S (kiehen) carb. You should also get a "big bore" pipe. ESR sells them along with sparks i beleave.
