300ex with 400ex front end??
It makes a huge difference. If you are going to put the 400ex front end be sure to get an extended axle to even up the quad. There is little travel with the 250x 300ex. Putting the 400ex shocks on make a huge difference . I had a 300ex with custom shock mounts welded on the frame. I saw the bracket on ebay but dont know how well it hold s up.

You just need the a-arms, shocks, and tie-rods. The brake lines are long enough. You can use your existing tie-rod ends also. I just did this to my bike, got the mount you are talking about off of ebay. As soon as I get everything finished I'll post some pics. If you have any questions go ahead and ask.
